The Control Room
						The Control Room at Airtight S2dios offers a great selection of new and vintage, solid state and tube, gear.  The room is set up around a Trident Dream Console which is tracked through Digidesign and Apogee converters into Pro Tools 7.0 HD 1 Accel system with a wide array of high quality plug ins.  The monitor system is centered around a pair of Mackie HR 824 near field monitors run through a DBX DriveRack monitoring system. The strength of the room lies in the amazing Trident Console backed up by the outboard pre-amps, compressors, and eqs which give the recordings a big studio sound.  Apogee converters clocked to a Big Ben Master Clock make sure that the signal makes it into the digital domain at the highest quality possible.  Something missing in many other sall studios.  Only the highest quality cables and connectors have been used in setting up the control room to ensure integrity of the signal is maintained. There is also a midi set up with a wide selection of synthesizers and drum machines.
